Since we’re stuck with Kamala Harris for the next several months at least, we might as well start a chronicle of what is sure to be known as Kamalot II. So we might as well launch a new “Kamalot Watch” feature.
As has been reported for a long time now, one reason Biden supposedly was adamant about running again is that he doubted Harris could win. This may well be true, but from what is available on the public record you can understand why Slow Joe may have come to regret his choice of running mate.
Axios has been one of the few media outlets that has reported about Biden’s obvious incapacities, but today included a story about Harris’s own disabilities that we may hear more about as time goes on. This passage in particular is jaw-dropping:
In April 2022, Harris was the guest for a dinner at D.C. news mogul David Bradley’s home — a salon-style event Bradley hosts with Washington journalists and newsmakers.

Harris’ anxiety about the dinner was such that her staff held a mock dinner beforehand, with staffers playing participants, according to two people familiar with the event.

Harris aides even considered including wine in the mock prep so Harris could practice with a glass or two.

They ultimately decided against it.
Bradley’s salon dinners in Washington are legendary, but never for being intimidating affairs. They are more like Hollywood Oscar night after-parties: the important thing is being included on the guest list. If Harris is stressed out about the prospect of dinner at David Bradley’s, Kamalot II is going to be a pretty dismal affair.
