Queer Intel

Back in February, the Biden-Harris administration appointed Sneha Nair as a “Special Assistant” at the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). Nair is co-author with Louis Reitmann of “Queering nuclear weapons: How LGBTQ+ inclusion strengthens security and reshapes disarmament,” and as the authors contend:

Governments cannot afford to lose out on the human capital and innovation potential of queer people. Informed by their life experiences, queer people have specific skills to offer that are valuable in a policy and diplomacy context. LGBTQ+ people often must navigate being different from those around them; develop the ability to listen and empathize; and mobilize the skill and perseverance to make themselves heard.

Participating as oneself in the nuclear field is a right that should be extended to all. However, including the LGBTQ+ community in the nuclear field is far more than a social issue campaign. It is up to allies, people in power, and the institutions they serve to vocalize their support for LGBTQ+ inclusion, not just because it is the right thing to do, but also because queer people add value to nuclear weapons policy and discourse.

And so on, a veritable jihad of junkthought. As it turns out those same dynamics are going on at the Central Intelligence Agency. Consider Gus Hall voter John Brennan, author of Undaunted: My Fight Against America’s Enemies at Home and Abroad. “Since its birth in 1947, CIA had only partially shed its reputation as a bastion of white male dominance,” Breen explains. As CIA boss, Brennan says he heard “heart wrenching stories of discrimination” from women and minorities, and “one CIA demographic group that my deputies and I felt especially privileged to support was the LGBTQ  community.” The alert reader may spot a problem here.

“Homosexuality and transgenderism are two utterly different phenomena,” Bruce Bawer explains, and “queer” can mean anything, so there is no LGBTQ “community.” The formulation is a construct that divides people into oppressed and oppressor classes, as the left has always done. Being a component of the construct is not an accomplishment, confers no special skills, and adds no value to policy or practice. Should that be doubted, consider transportation secretary Pete Buttigieg, HHS “Admiral” Rachel Levine and luggage thief Sam Brinton, formerly of the energy department.

The CIA’s alphabet people have been institutionalized in ANGLE, the Agency Network for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Officers. As this recruiting video confirms, the agency has become another woke bureaucracy, useless at its appointed task of protecting the nation against foreign threats such as Islamic terrorism.  John Brennan, who believes jihad is non-violent, has enjoyed great success deploying the CIA against those he regards as “enemies at home,” the sort of people who want the nation to be great. Watch for more CIA tricks as the election approaches.
