I had never listened to or watched a Joe Rogan podcast, mostly because they are three hours long. And I believe he produces one most days, so keeping up with Rogan is like having a part-time job. It would be a parallel universe where I could do that.
But on Tuesday, Rogan interviewed tech entrepreneur Marc Andreessen. I was intrigued by this very short clip:
This is insane…
Marc Andreessen on how the Biden Administration wanted to control AI with government regulatory capture, blocking free markets similar to the CCP.
ROGAN: “When you leave a meeting like that, what do you do?”
ANDREESSEN: “You endorse Donald Trump.” pic.twitter.com/ZN3CVtiMDx

Intrigued enough to track down the podcast and watch it over a couple of days.
The conversation is interesting. Andreessen is obviously a smart guy, and Rogan is a well-informed, centrist everyman. The discussion of artificial intelligence, and the Biden administration’s effort to dominate it on behalf of the Democratic Party, is near the end. Unfortunately, it is not at all clear. Did Andreessen attend meetings in which someone (who?) from the Biden Administration laid out such a plan? It sounds like it, but that seems improbable. I wish I had been there to ask a lot more questions.
Here is the entire podcast; make of it what you will:
