Georgetown’s daughter of Hamas

The normalization of the genocidal mania of Hamas and other such groups in pockets of the United States has become apparent in the wake of the 10/7 massacres. CAMERA’s David Litman brought one striking case to light in the NR online story “Georgetown’s daughter of Hamas.” Unfortunately, it is behind NR’s online paywall. The Daily Mail picked it up in Rachel Bowman’s accessible story “Georgetown University graduate student revealed as daughter of top Hamas adviser.”

The graduate student is one Mapheze Ahmad Yousef Salah. She actually worked with Hamas at “the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Gaza.” Litman’s story also reports: “In Arabic-language media that has been reviewed by our translation team, Mapheze — whose name is sometimes transliterated differently — has been open about her own role with the Hamas government. She served with the Hamas government’s Committee to Break the Siege in Gaza, which happened to be chaired by her father.” The post below tells the story in video form.

Litman’s story concludes with his effort to get a response from the parties: “When asked about its knowledge of Mapheze’s work in Gaza, Georgetown University provided no response. However, within hours of CAMERA’s inquiry, Mapheze’s profile, which acknowledged her ‘work with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Gaza,’ disappeared from the university’s website. Likewise, Mapheze did not respond to a request for comment.”
