If you haven’t seen it, this is worth a look. A reporter asks Tom Homan, Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, about Pope Leo’s criticism of U.S. immigration laws. Homan, who is awesome, responds appropriately:
UPDATE: I just saw this clip yesterday, but I am told it is some weeks old and Homan was referring to Pope Francis. No matter. Leo has made the same criticisms of our immigration laws as Francis, and Homan’s rejoinder applies equally to him. If Leo continues in his past vein, I expect we will see more of this from Homan.
