I am more familiar with Ilhan Omar’s whinery than her winery, or her former winery. Her whinery is a permanent feature. I recently quoted my close encounter with it in the Washington Free Beacon column “Yes, Ilhan Omar married her brother.” To adapt the lyrics of the old blues song, she’s the whinin’ girl, don’t you deny her name. As for the winery, the New York Post covers the story in “Ilhan Omar husband’s California winery suddenly closes amid investigation into her finances.”
I told the back story of my own angle on the Omar saga in “Four illuminations in the life of an online scribe (4).” I tried to bring the story up to date in the New York Post column “Vast fraud of Somali migrants, starting with Ilhan Omar, finally being exposed.” The song remains the same, but Omar is untouchable.
