As a result of third-world migration–some say, invasion–much of Western Europe is no longer recognizable. Mass third-world immigration is unpopular nearly everywhere, but European elites, being unhappy with their populaces, seem determined to replace them.
Campaigners including Eva Vlaardingerbroek and Martin Sellner have proposed the Save Europe Act, which you can read about here. The proposal strikes me as entirely reasonable. It petitions the European Union to exercise its right of initiative to propose legislation that would declare a moratorium on non-European, non-Western immigration; fundamentally reform EU migration and asylum systems; ensure and accelerate the return of illegal migrants; establish an EU-wide framework to incentivize voluntary remigration; and remove social welfare benefits that act as a lure to immigrants. I think a proposal along those lines would win a majority of European voters. Not that that would ever happen.
The European Union has written a letter to the organizers warning that the Save Europe Act may not be registered because it “would constitute discrimination grounded on race and ethnic origin and be manifestly contrary to Article 21…” etc. This is really extraordinary. It means that according to the European Union, any attempt to preserve the French identity of France, the Italian identity of Italy, etc., is out of bounds, and strangers must be allowed to move in and take over, regardless of the wishes of the indigenous population. Otherwise, it’s “racism”! It seems remarkable that anyone would try to sell such nonsense.

It was Justice Robert H. Jackson who wrote that the Constitution is not a suicide pact. The leaders of the European Union apparently believe their union to be precisely that.
The Save Europe Act needs one million signatures to be presented to the EU as an initiative. It currently has 473,000. I assume that threshold will be reached, at which point the EU will have to take an official position.
