Montana Senator Tim Sheehy is a Minnesota native and alumnus of St. Paul Academy as well as the Naval Academy. After graduation from the Naval Academy in 2008, he “completed several deployments and hundreds of missions as a US Navy SEAL Officer and Team Leader, deploying to Iraq, Afghanistan, South America, and the Pacific region. Tim was honored to serve alongside many American heroes and was involved in dozens of engagements with enemy forces, earning him multiple combat decorations.” I’m quoting from the Naval Academy profile of Senator Sheehy as one of its “Notable Graduates.”
Yesterday Senator Sheehy took to the Senate floor to make a statement. The Foundation for Defense of Democracies’ Behnam Ben Taleblu advises: “If you have 5 minutes to listen to ANYTHING today, it must be this from the US Senator from Montana, @TimSheehyMT.” He quotes from Sneator Sheehy’s speech: “This regime that we are fighting does not care about our partisan politics. They don’t care who you voted for, who you pray to, or where you live. They want to kill all of us. And they don’t just say it, they actually do it, and they’ve been doing it for forty-seven years.”
