I can’t vouch for what she says about the menorah and the guards, but I don’t have any reason to doubt it. I think it comes down to, whom is Harvard afraid of, the Jews or the anti-Semites? The question answers itself.

Meanwhile, on the broader issues of the Hamas war, the great Caroline Glick commented a while ago, after the ISIS terrorist attack in Moscow, but I just saw it today via Mark Steyn:
The attack in Russia is a terrible tragedy. But we need to understand the context. And the most important thing is to reach a ceasefire and provide humanitarian aid to the innocent families of the gunmen.

You might have noticed how the Russian authorities didn’t take a particularly gentle approach toward the terrorists.
Of course, if Hamas and its supporters in Gaza (the great majority of that population, evidently) actually want a cease fire, they could have one tomorrow. Hamas just needs to surrender. Weird how there is no international pressure on Hamas to do that.
