Fox News has contacted all the members of the Deep State 51 — the former senior intelligence officials who disparaged the New York Post’s 2020 reporting on Hunter Biden’s laptop as bearing “all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.” So they said in an open letter or public statement that Natasha Bertrand duly read out for Politico (Bertrand has now moved on to CNN). Natasha, you should have done some reporting or returned the letter to sender.
Students of ancient history may recall that Joe Biden relied on the statement of the Deep State 51 to disparage the Post’s reporting as “garbage” in his late October 2020 debate with President Trump. The letter had been orchestrated by Antony Blinken and Michael Morrell. Biden, Blinken, Morell and all rest of them ought to freeze in the Ninth Circle of Hell.
Fox News reports that the Deep State 51 stand by their disinformation operation. The New York Post speaks for itself and responds today in a good editorial. These people have no shame. They are proud of what they did. They reflect poorly on the organizations they served — the organizations other than Biden’s, that is, which they perfectly represent.
