Increasingly, it seems that American liberals and conservatives are living on different planets. The latest case in point: 55% of Democrats say they would rather live in a country other than the United States:

It is interesting that there is very little difference based on income or ethnicity. The huge difference is political: Democrats want to live somewhere else, Republicans don’t. I find the Democrats’ offer acceptable and would like to see if there is a way to satisfy their desire.
Seriously, I do think that the U.S. may be in the process of breaking up. When Democrats say they would like to live in a different country, I think it means they want a country of their own–a socialist country where there are 256 genders, no rich people, no free speech, no religion. Someday, I think they may get it. Because there is no basis for common citizenship between us, who love our country and want to preserve it, and them, who hate our country and want to destroy it.
