The Democratic National Convention really is living up to the “convention” part of the title, in the ancient Aristotelian sense of “convention” (nomos) superseding nature (physis). On the one hand, Democrats talk about families and children and whatnot, but ostentatiously display mobile abortion and vasectomy trucks outside the convention grounds, which are apparently fully booked. Democrats are hostile to nothing so much as human nature.
Now, whenever I hear a leftist say they don’t want to bring children into this evil racist climate-destroying nation, I heartily approve. These are indeed the very people I do not want to reproduce. They are doing humanity and great favor, and likely improving the gene pool, by deciding not to reproduce.
Exit question: when will the DNC start offering assisted suicide trucks outside their conventions? I think we might see them as soon as 2028. (Especially if Trump wins.)
Second, I note Tim Walz once again attacked J.D.Vance for going to Yale: “I had 24 kids in my high school class and none of them went to Yale.” But I seem to recall some bright young kid being raised by a single mom in Hope, Arkansas, who went to Georgetown and Yale, and we were told how great it was.
Actually this is proof that it is your opinions, and not your achievement, that is what counts for Democrats. I can guarantee, by the way, that Harvard and Yale law schools are ashamed of their conservative alums like Vance, Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley, etc, and would like to find a way to screen out conservatives like them from being admitted if they could do so.
Finally: Bill Clinton is officially over the hill. He sucked the air out of the convention hall.
Oprah? I thought billionaires weren’t welcome at the DNC. The least she could have done is say, “And you get joy! And YOU get joy! Everyone gets joy!” At least her Ozempic appears to be working.
