Is This the Video that Should End the Campaign?

Tom Klingenstein thinks it is. It features Brian Lozenski, whom Tim Walz’s Department of Education appointed to guide the development of “Ethnic Studies” curriculum that will revamp all K-12 public education in Minnesota. The problem is that Lozenski, a Minnesota professor who is the national leader on Ethnic Studies, is a far-leftist who has explicitly called for the overthrow of the government of the United States. My organization, Center of the American Experiment, has been writing about this for a while, and I did a post on Lozenski and the radicalism of Tim Walz here. But it was Stanley Kurtz who unearthed the video (now deleted) in which Lozenski called for the destruction of the United States:

In my opinion, the Democratic Party has nominated a lot of candidates who are much too far to the left. But as far as I know, this is the first time they have nominated a candidate who wants our public schools to encourage children to hate our country and seek its “overthrow.”

Tom Klingenstein writes:

Ethnic studies (which is to say CRT) will be embedded in every required subject [in Minnesota], including the sciences, in every grade from kindergarten to 12th grade. It is also taught as a stand-alone subject, required already of every graduate of St. Paul public schools.

Katherine Kersten, a senior policy fellow at the Center of the American Experiment in Minneapolis, gives us a flavor of the new standards:

* First-graders must “identify examples of ethnicity, equality, liberation and systems of power” and “use those examples to construct meanings for those terms.”

* Fourth-graders must “identify the processes and impacts of colonization and examine how discrimination and the oppression of various racial and ethnic groups have produced resistance movements.”

* High school students are told to “develop an analysis of racial capitalism” and “anti-Blackness” and are taught to view themselves as members of “racialized hierarchies” based on “dominant European beauty standards.”

These standards are intended to lead students to disdain America and join in the overthrow of their country. In the revolution of which Walz is an important part, students are taught that their country is “irreversibly” racist. As Lozenski says in the video, such a charge is necessarily a call to overthrow America.

Kamala Harris knew what she was doing when she selected the leftist radical Tim Walz as her running mate.

Klingenstein also notes the fact that Lozenski’s committee has delayed releasing the “framework” for implementing Ethnic Studies curricula, which was supposed to be made public in August. No doubt that is because the framework is so radical that it would expose the anti-American agenda of the Harris/Walz ticket.

You wonder, sometimes, what it will take to cause some voters to understand the radical and fundamentally anti-American nature of today’s Democratic Party. Tom thinks the Lozenski video embedded above may do the trick. If it doesn’t, it is hard to imagine what would.
