The insurrection against federal authority in Los Angeles continues. As always, when confronted with a well-organized and well-funded riot, the most pertinent question is: who is behind it? In this case, a significant part of the answer is a non-profit called the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights, or CHIRLA.

The kicker: CHIRLA, the group behind the current rioting in LA, "received nearly $34 million in revenue from government contracts during the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023, with 96% of that funding from the State of CA."

One of the leading organizers of the violent LA ICE riots is the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights.
They are CURRENTLY receiving six-figure grants from @DHSgov for “citizenship instruction and naturalization services.”

Why on Earth would either the federal government or the State of California fund an organization that leads an insurrection? Because anti-Americanism is the official ideology of the U.S. In Minnesota, where I live, my organization battles every day against the anti-Americanism that is taught in the public schools. Most people are baffled by the Democratic Party’s insistence that many thousands of gang bangers, pedophiles, human traffickers, drug dealers etc. must be admitted into our country in violation of our laws, and once admitted, must be permitted to stay forever. Why would Democrats take such a seemingly bizarre position?
Because they hate our country and are trying to destroy it, that’s why. Or, to put it another way: when a group of people continually act in a way that to you seems perverse, you should consider the possibility that their goals are not your goals.
UPDATE: Bill Glahn referred to this earlier. It will likely be the iconic image from the current riots–the guy circling a burning car, while waving a Mexican flag. This is the Democratic Party in 2025:
