As everyone has heard by now, it’s a big El Nino year in the Pacific, which means big storms for the Left Coast. So far the storms have been fairly modest (though the current storm barreling down from the Gulf of Alaska this afternoon is said to be extreme), but the surf in the aftermath—at least this week—has been pretty epic. So I wandered around with my cameras and my drone the last couple of days, and here’s a five-minute highlight reel, culminating with some brave surfers.
