At my day job I have become familiar with the recent indictment referred to in this extremely interesting St. Paul Pioneer Press article: “Brothers not linked to terrorism sweep.” The article should be read in conjunction the wire service story in today’s Star Tribune: “Two Minnesota men accused of currency smuggling.” (The headline is inaccurate, but the article adds important information to the Pioneer Press piece.) The hard copy of the Star Tribune features a long article on the charges, the arrests, and the related searches and seizures that we will also post when it is available online.
UPDATE: Here’s the AP wire service story on the nationwide money laundering/money smuggling arrests that, according to the story, included the Minneapolis two: “Feds launch raids against terror money.” Today’s Star Tribune’s triple-byline article on the local arrests has not been made available online.
