The real debate

Dick Cheney was probably right when he suggested that the liveliest policy debate of this campaign season is the one between John Kerry and John Kerry. But the most serious policy debate is taking place outside of the campaign, and because it is serious, it should surprise no one that this debate, over the war on terrorism, is between conservatives — with Norman Podhoretz on one side and Angelo Codevilla on the other. Eric Claeys of No Left Turns summarizes the two positions.
