My friend Steve Hayward tries to introduce some sense into the global warming hysteria, as reported in today’s New York Times. Steve notes that the Times describes him as “big-boned.” Is that really necessary? Has the Times ever observed that Al Gore is big-boned? Steve adds that now that he has gone into competition with “An Inconvenient Truth,” he has “an excuse to stop wearing a necktie…just like real Hollywood dudes.”
UPDATE: Was it the Times’s description of Steve as “big-boned” that caused me accidentally to inflate the size of the photo of Steve (above) about ten times beyond what our site can accommodate? I have now reduced the size of the photo from the Times article, as I had intended to do.
