Not quite live from the APSA

I was unable to get an Internet connection in the conference rooms of the Hyatt and Sheraton hotels at which the APSA panels of the Clarmemont Institute were held this weekend. I was therefore unable to fulfill my fantasy of live blogging great panels on theoretical issues regarding executive authority, new books on Leo Strauss and the latest scholarship on John Locke. I do want to note one or two of the panels in subsequent posts. For the moment, I want only to acknowledge the scholars such as Professor Randy Barnett of Georgetown Law Center (and the Volokh Conspiracy) and the University of Illinois government professor who went out of their way to say hello and tell me how much they enjoyed Power Line. It is a privilege to have such readers and to have the opportunity to meet them.
