If you’ve been following the saga of Harvard fauxcahontas Elizabeth Warren and her purported Native American roots that, while she and Harvard both touted them, did not land her the job at Harvard, don’t miss William Jacobson’s latest report: “Is prestigious genealogical society throwing media under the bus Warren 1/32 Cherokee claim?” Alternate title: Close Encounters of the 1/32nd Kind.

Two comments: (1) I think the answer to the question Jacobson raises is affirmative. (2) Tom Lipscomb gets results. But do read the whole thing and draw your own conclusions.
