There is a lot of talk about how the sharply rising numbers of children with supposed “gender dysphoria” is actually a product of a social contagion, aggravated by social media as well as overt ideological pressure. This chart shows how rapidly diagnoses of gender dysphoria have skyrocketed. Is it really plausible that, like childhood asthma, there is some kind of previously undiagnosed “epidemic,” nearly doubling during the year of the pandemic lockdown?
