Those who considered Hillary Clinton the overwhelming favorite for the Democratic nomination — and I’m near the top of the list, at least in terms of level of conviction — are looking increasingly wrong-headed these days. The clip below of Hillary attempting to evade a question prompted by her husband’s entirely sensible claim that electing Barack Obama would be a roll of the dice provides more evidence of her weakness (in this case laughable weakness) as a candidate. I didn’t see much evidence of this weakness during her first Senate campaign or in the early debates this cycle. I guess she wasn’t under severe pressure at those times.
