I’m about to leave for ten days in Paris. We’ll be visiting my daughter who is studying there. I’ll be so busy assessing first-hand the massive damage to Franco-American relations caused by President Bush’s arrogance that I don’t expect to blog until I return to these reactionary shores.
Joking aside, Paris is my favorite of all the cities I’ve visited. However, each time I’m there, it becomes a bit less favorite. I haven’t been in Paris now for six years, my longest absence since 1982, and those years have eventful and somewhat difficult ones there. So, while I won’t actually be doing any fact finding, I’m looking forward to gathering impressions.
