Well, relatively speaking, anyway. My little brother’s latest book is called At the Edge of Empire: The Backcountry in British North America. It was reviewed yesterday in the Washington Times. The review isn’t bad even though the reviewer is a lefty; if you read far enough, you’ll come to an especially stupid (not to mention redundant) reference to “male patriarchs.” These guys just can’t let go. Still, the review is worth reading. Better yet, read the book!
UPDATE: Here is the link to the book at Amazon, where you can buy it if so inclined.
