Glenn Reynolds links to this side-by-side comparison of an authentic 1972 document authored by Lt. Co. Jerry Killian and one of the CBS forgeries. The differences are so obvious to the untutored eye that it is impossible to believe that anyone ever considered the fake documents to be anything but forgeries.
I can’t help pointing out, though, that we did the same side-by-side comparison on Power Line on the day the story broke, Sept. 9, nine days ago, in our now-famous post titled The Sixty-First Minute. The Post may catch up to the blogosphere someday, but it hasn’t yet.
