The unbearable lightness of being Democrats…

…has been put on display in the inane, obviously pretextual attacks on Rush Limbaugh mounted by MoveOn.org and the Senate Democrats following its script. Michelle Malkin calls the production The Crush Rush Democrats’ Agenda. Michelle writes:

These people are fighting dirty. They are focused. They are unhinged.

Minnesota’s own Senator Amy Klobuchar is among the Senate’s 41 Crush Rush Democrats. Senator Klobuchar and her Democratic allies in the Senate treat the American people as fools. Perhaps Republicans ought to take a page out of the Clinton playbook. When asked about the MoveOn.org, Bill Clinton aggressively went on the attack charging hypocrisy on the basis of the Swift Boat and Max Cleland ads — and this appeared to coordinate with Barbara Boxer’s “alternative” to the condemnation of MoveOn.org.
Well, why don’t Republicans do the same thing? What about the free pass Democrats have given to Murtha for accusing troops of killing in “cold blood” or Kerry for accusing troops of “terrorizing” women and children, or for his “botched joke”? I’m sure there are plenty more examples, and I’m sure Democrats don’t want the public to be reminded about any of these.
