My mother once told me that if I can’t say anything good about a decedent, I shouldn’t say anything at all. That’s why I’ve had no comment on Ted Kennedy’s demise. I have, however, commented on the Democrats’ effort to re-brand their failing health care push with Kennedy’s image, which seems misguided at best. Chris Muir explains why; click to enlarge:
It’s too early to say whether Kennedy nostalgia will do anything for government medicine, but so far, at least, it hasn’t done anything for the vacationing Barack Obama. Scott Rasmussen finds that voters who “strongly disapprove” of Obama’s performance are currently a larger plurality than ever, at 42 percent, while by a 52 to 47 percent margin voters disapprove of the President. That’s Obama’s worst showing so far.
