We have previously noted instances of Palestinian child abuse, but to be fair, the Palestinians don’t have a monopoly on it. The Sun reports on a “sickening propaganda stunt staged by extremists of the Islamic Jihad Union, linked to al-Qaeda.” They posed small children with weapons of the sort the group uses to attack American and British troops along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border. Here is a sample:
I didn’t get to listen to President Obama’s speech on Afghanistan, but I gather, based on Paul’s account, that it was a typically conflicted and ambiguous Obama production. It is unclear to me what our policy toward Afghanistan–and Pakistan too–should be. The problem is a profound one. But any policy that fails to recognize how wholly evil our enemies in that part of the world are, can only be misguided.
