Scott Ott has moved over to join the Washington Examiner’s lineup of eminent columnists including our own Paul Mirengoff. In his Examiner gig, Scott holds himself out as providing News fairly unbalanced. We report. You decipher, pretty much as he did back at his old Scrappleface site.
Today Scott follows up on the news regarding Harry Reid’s appreciation — now given the presidential seal of approval! — of Obama’s skin color and lack of Negro dialect, unless he wanna talk that way. Scott reports that “Reid adds ‘skin lightening therapy’ to health reform bill.”
Scott also takes note of President Obama’s statement praising Reid for “his sensitivity toward those born with mahogany, mocha and walnut skin, through no fault of their own” and adds that the majority leader said he’s still crafting a measure that would force insurers to pay for “a dialect coach” for patients who have their skin lightened.
