Marco Rubio is one of the most exciting and inspiring figures in the Republican Party. He is locked in a tight Florida Senate race with the unprincipled turncoat Charlie Crist, who is happy to morph into a liberal if that is what it takes to worm his way into the Senate. I interviewed Rubio here. He has now come up with 12 simple ways to cut spending. Each will be offered in a video to be posted over the coming days. Here is the first, which advocates eliminating earmarks:
