On October 19, I’ll be appearing for a panel discussion on politics, journalism and the internet–we thought it would be good to keep the topic narrow–at Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The event will be held at Foy Hall, and will run from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., with the possibility of libations thereafter, if I’m still on speaking terms with fellow panelists Markos Moulitsas of the Daily Kos and Ana Marie Cox, the Wonkette. The event is sponsored by Morning Call newspaper.
I don’t believe the panel discussion will be transmitted over the internet, although there are likely to be bloggers there, blogging it. The auditorium will be equipped with a wireless connection. It looks like I’ll be outnumbered on the panel, as the Wonkette is a liberal and Kos is God knows what, so if any readers who are within driving distance of Bethlehem can show up, it would be great. Deacon is trying to make it if he can, as well.
You can read the Morning Call’s promotion of the event here.
