Netanyahu’s case

Representatives of the Israeli government have been summoned by the Biden administration to meet in Washington next week. See Joel Pollak’s Breitbart News story on National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan’s press conference yesterday here (the White House transcript is posted here). This is classic:

Sullivan said that Biden had specifically criticized Netanyahu’s plans to attack Hamas in Rafah. Sullivan said that Biden had addressed what he called a “straw man,” the “nonsense” argument that to refrain from attacking Hamas in Rafah means giving up on defeating Hamas.

Instead, Sullivan said, Biden stressed that Hamas could be defeated without an invasion of Rafah. Sullivan did not elaborate as to how Biden proposed to convince Hamas to surrender without a fight.

“Sullivan did not elaborate…” says it all.

The Biden administration and its allies seek to depose the Netanyahu government. They cast Netanyahu as the problem. Regardless of their opinion of Netanyahu, Israelis do not see things as Biden, Sullivan, and the rest of the Biden crew purport to see them.

In the 12-minute video below Prime Minister Netanyahu responds to the line disseminated by Biden and others that Netanyahu is the problem. “The picture that is presented in the last few days and weeks in the United States is completely different from what I describe,” Netanyahu says, and he makes a compelling case.
