FBI Director James Comey was a media darling just three months ago, when he announced that Hillary Clinton would not be charged with a crime, notwithstanding her “extremely careless” handling of classified information. He was the Solomon of the 21st Century. But, that was then and this is now.
The Media Research Center reviewed and analyzed coverage of the email story by the big three broadcast TV networks from October 28 to October 31. They assessed comments on the networks as critical of Hillary Clinton, the potential felon, or critical of James Comey, the FBI Director. The results probably won’t surprise you:
Spinning the facts to help Democrats: it is what the networks do, along with lots of other media outlets, from women’s magazines to almost every newspaper in the United States. I don’t think we can even imagine a world in which our media were neutral between the political parties.
