Multiple Police Officers Killed In Baton Rouge [with comment by Paul][Updated][More]

At least three police officers are reportedly dead and four three more said to be in critical condition after being shot by a gunman armed with a semiautomatic rifle in Baton Rouge. Reportedly, police received a call about a “suspicious person walking down Airline Highway with an assault rifle.” When they responded, the perpetrator opened fire.

It isn’t clear at this point whether the gunman was an anti-police liberal, a garden-variety criminal or a lunatic (or possibly all three). Baton Rouge is, of course, where Alton Sterling was shot during a scuffle with police. The city has been a center of anti-law enforcement activism. More to come.

PAUL ADDS: If President Obama comes to Baton Rouge for a memorial service, perhaps he will refrain from claiming, as he did in Dallas, that policing in America is infected by racism.

UPDATE: Police are now referring to “multiple suspects,” with one dead and two others still at large. While this is not yet confirmed, if it is true that several perpetrators were involved, it substantially raises the likelihood that they were anti-police liberals inspired by Barack Obama and his ilk.

MORE: Donald Trump comments in a tweet on the latest anti-police outrage:

How many law enforcement and people have to die because of a lack of leadership in our country? We demand law and order.

No wonder Trump is rising in the polls. If the election comes down to Black Lives Matter vs. supporters of law enforcement, he will win in a landslide. Watch Hillary tap dance to avoid that scenario while keeping her race-obsessed base happy.
