This is a big week in the impeachment farce. With House Speaker Nancy Pelosi sitting on the Democrats’ dearly beloved impeachment articles in the hope that she can pressure Senate Majority Mitch McConnell into bending to her will, the farce became farcical in a whole new way over the past two days.

An impeachment story or two made it into the Star Tribune’s top 5 list this week. Below is the Star Tribune’s top 5 most read and most emailed list of stories as of 9:15 a.m. this morning. The number 1 most read story is impeachment related, but it’s an offbeat contribution. The interests of Star Tribune readers appear to be reverting to the norm.

I find the list a continuing source of amusement. If it’s not funny, it’s almost funny.
